The 850w mixer is SoRoTo’s smallest hand-held intermittent use electric paddle mixer. It is an efficient and durable electric mixer which can be used on its own or in conjunction with a forced action mixer. It is a versatile mixer that is used to create a consistent and lump-free mixture. Suitable for use with a plasterers whisk (both threaded and edged), this durable and ergonomically designed mixing drill is perfect for occasional and infrequent use. With both a drill chuck and an M14 thread adaptor, it is compatible with practically any mixer paddle attachment and is excellent at producing a smooth and consistent mix.

With each 850w mixer comes with:

  • A standard SoRoTo whisk
  • An M14-M14 adaptor for use with special types of whisks with an inside thread
  • A Chuck with an adaptor for edged whisks

This plasterers’ whisk is designed for comfort, is well balanced and vibration free.

What are paddle mixers?

These are used to mix a wide range of materials including plaster, paint or cement. This can be done with ease and quickly.

The material is drawn through the rotating blades which creates a consistent and lump-free mixture. A parallel mix action helps to ensure a low splash mix.

A plaster mixing drill is an essential asset to tradesmen, allowing plaster to be mixed with increased productivity. A consistent mix is achieved with a paddle extension with little effort. Power is distributed through the paddle which leads to greater consistency than a standard drill or cordless drill.

To achieve the best results use on low speed.

Mixers and mixing drills are used to mix a range of materials including drywall compound, mortars and paints.

Known as: Plasterers whisk, mixing drill, paint mixer, plaster mixer, paddle mixer

How do plaster mixers work?

Mixers rely on electricity to rotate a road which has either a paddle or blade at the bottom. This stirs the mixture you are working with, blending the different substances together.

They are incredibly simple to use. Attach the spindles to the main tool, follow the instructions and plug the plaster mixer into the electricity source. Add the correct ratio of substance to be mixed (be careful not to exceed the maximum capacity for the mixture), stand the mixer upright and switch on the tool onto a low setting. Once the mixer is running the speed can be increased to a suitable level and the substance can be mixed to perfection.
